A beautifully set table isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about creating an atmosphere of warmth, sophistication, and celebration. At Chez Sophie, we bring together timeless antique tableware and modern-day elegance to make every gathering extraordinary.

1. Start with a Vision

Whether it’s an intimate family dinner, an elegant soirée, or a festive holiday gathering, your table setting should reflect the occasion. Choose pieces that not only complement your theme but also tell a story.

2. The Essential Layers of a Well-Dressed Table

✔ Table Linens– A soft, high-quality tablecloth or runner sets the foundation for an inviting tablescape.

✔ Silverware Collection – Heirloom-quality flatware, from intricate antique forks and knives to beautifully aged serving pieces, adds a touch of sophistication.

✔ Soupières & Compotiers– A beautifully crafted antique soup tureen (soupière) or a delicate compotier (fruit stand) serves as both a functional piece and a striking centerpiece.

✔ Baby Cups Collection – When hosting a family gathering, incorporating engraved silver baby cups adds a sentimental touch, making little ones feel just as special.

✔ Bar Ware Collection– A stylishly arranged bar tray with vintage crystal glassware and silver-plated cocktail shakers ensures a chic and inviting drink station.

3. Mixing Old and New

Pairing antique silverware and vintage glassware with modern table linens creates a timeless yet contemporary look. A beautifully aged soupière filled with a seasonal centerpiece adds both charm and history to your tablescape.

At Chez Sophie, we curate extraordinary tableware, silverware, and decorative pieces that elevate your dining experience. Whether you’re hosting an elegant dinner or a casual brunch, our collections help you craft a setting that embodies joie de vivre and refined beauty.
